It is with great satisfaction that IKATEC presents its Code of Ethics, which outlines the ethical and business conduct standards that guide the activities and decisions of all its management team and employees (“our Code”).
IKATEC, recognized for its ethics and the quality of its services, has become a reference in the TECHNOLOGY sector, continuously gaining market share and consolidating its reputation through integrity and a commitment to always delivering the best for its clients.
Our primary goal remains the development and growth of our human relationships, reflecting positive values in our activities, based on the pillars of integrity, professionalism, excellence, ethics, and transparency.
Our greatest assets are our employees and clients. It is for them and with them in mind that we build our image and position in the market. Therefore, we understand that, to build an ethical business model, we must act in accordance with the guidelines of this Code, always respecting the law and, with everyone’s participation, striving to ensure a fairer society.
Likewise, we work to develop a healthy, balanced, and ethical work environment, fulfilling our professional and social roles.

Objectives and Application
This Code outlines and establishes the principles that we expect all partners, directors, managers, employees, representatives, business partners, service providers, suppliers (collectively referred to as “Collaborators”), and companies connected in any way to IKATEC to follow.

Ethical Decisions and Collaborators’ Responsibilities
IKATEC rejects any situation that is not based on integrity, ethics, and transparency, that could compromise the company’s image and reputation, or that is in conflict with applicable laws.
To make ethically sound decisions, each collaborator must reflect on three (3) essential questions, especially if there is any doubt regarding the decency, goodness, or humanity of the action. These are:
I. Is the action contrary to applicable laws?
II. Does it violate the IKATEC Code, internal policies, rules, or guidelines?
III. Is the action misaligned with any of IKATEC’s organizational values?
If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” the action is considered inappropriate and should not be carried out.
In case of uncertainty regarding any of the responses, the Collaborator must report the situation to IKATEC’s Management to receive proper guidance.
Work Environment
We are committed to creating and maintaining dignified working conditions for our Collaborators. To promote a safe, healthy, and harmonious work environment, we comply with applicable occupational health and safety legislation, providing a balanced workplace and appropriate equipment to ensure optimal job performance.
Non-Discrimination and Harassment, Prohibition of Child and Forced Labor
Equality and fairness are essential to creating a respectful and harmonious work environment. Non-discrimination is a key step toward building a balanced world. We value the skills and capabilities of our Collaborators. Race, color, religion, sex, marital status, religious, political, or sexual orientation, social class, place of origin, or disability status shall not influence decisions regarding promotion, termination, or any other career-related or hiring actions. We firmly oppose child labor, forced labor, or any similar practices, and we comply fully with labor laws.
Freedom of Association and Politics
Society must be plural. Our Collaborators are free to participate in political, community, or association activities, provided they remain in the personal sphere and do not interfere with their professional duties. Collaborators must clarify that their personal opinions and positions do not reflect IKATEC’s official stance or position.
Social Responsibility
Society must progress. IKATEC contributes to improving the socio-economic conditions of our community through social and educational projects, encouraging awareness of the importance of both collective and individual responsibility with active citizenship.
Environment
Our world is our home. Protecting and consciously using natural resources is essential for human development and global harmony. Our commitment includes full compliance with national environmental legislation in all our activities.
Communication and Information Disclosure
Respecting the law is non-negotiable. Ensuring security and best practices in communication and information management is part of our daily activity.
All communication and information disclosure must be complete, accurate, clear, and truthful, and must occur at the appropriate time following the procedure outlined in the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
Confidential Information
Confidential information includes any private data that is not publicly available, whether related to IKATEC or its Collaborators. The use of such information for personal benefit, the benefit of third parties, or for any purpose unrelated to IKATEC’s activities is strictly prohibited.
Protection and Use of Assets
Caring for the planet’s resources also means taking care of company resources. Preserving the facilities, materials, resources, and equipment in the workplace is both a human and professional responsibility.
Intellectual Property
The intellectual property of the work developed by Collaborators in the execution of their duties (trademarks, patents, copyrights, software, among others) belongs to IKATEC and must always be protected and preserved.
Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
We conduct business ethically, transparently, and honestly. We do not offer or accept bribes and have zero tolerance for corruption anywhere we operate.
Gifts, Hospitality, Travel, and Entertainment
To avoid any impropriety, the offering or acceptance of any kind of gift or courtesy should be avoided, except when permitted by law and internal policies.
Relationship with Third Parties
We are ethical and value transparency and good faith. Third parties, partners, suppliers, and service providers who engage with us must share these same principles of integrity.
Conflict of Interest
Personal relationships must not influence decision-making. Situations where the personal interests of our Collaborators or their family members conflict with the interests of the company constitute a conflict of interest.
Donations to Charities and Political Parties and Sponsorships
IKATEC does not make donations to political parties nor supports candidates for public office. All charitable donations are preceded by a detailed review of the beneficiary entity.
Violations and Reporting
Ensuring compliance with this Code is the duty of everyone. If any Collaborator has questions or witnesses unethical acts, they must report them to the Board of Directors, Human Resources, or the Legal Department. We guarantee confidentiality and do not tolerate retaliation against the whistleblower.
Non-Compliance with the Code
Non-compliance with the guidelines contained in this Code or with current legislation may result in the application of disciplinary measures.
Validity and Adherence
This Code is effective as of 05/11/2022, and its observance is mandatory for all partners and employees.
Amendments to the Code
We are committed to continuously reviewing and updating this Code and our policies, with the possibility of amending them at any time.
