Calculate CBP Costs with Our WhatsApp Price Calculator
WhatsApp Business API charges are based on 4 conversation models, each with a specific cost. To simplify, Digisac has created a calculator to aid in understanding the costs and operation of each model.
How Does It Work?
CBP (Conversation-Based Pricing) is a WhatsApp billing model that relies on conversations. Each conversation has a maximum period of 24 hours and is divided into four categories:
Active Conversation - Initiated by the Company Marketing conversations include promotions or offers, information updates, or invitations for customers who respond or take actions. Conversations that do not fit into utility or authentication categories will be considered marketing.
Active Conversation - Initiated by the Company Utility conversations facilitate a specific pre-authorized request, transaction, or update for a customer about ongoing transactions, including post-sale notifications and recurring invoice statements.
Active Conversation - Initiated by the Company Authentication conversations enable businesses to authenticate users with one-time-use passwords at various stages of the login process (e.g., account verification, account recovery, integrity challenges).
Active Conversation - Initiated by the Company Service conversations: These are user-initiated conversations that help customers with inquiries.

Frequently Asked Questions
First, choose the country where your customers are. Then, select the number of conversations you want in each category. After that, the calculator will provide you with a cost estimate.
If you know the quantity of conversations you will use, the calculator will give you an idea of the initial cost in a few minutes, allowing you to align your strategies and prioritize the types you want.
Sending order updates, service hiring notifications, as well as billing statements, are some examples of using utility conversations. Before sending, your company will need to approve the template, and the client must accept the message.
When the client agrees to receive messages from your company, you can use WhatsApp to promote your product/service and send, for example, offers, launches, updates, and recommendations. As the name suggests, the idea is to promote your company and increase sales.
The goal is to send security authentications to enable password recovery, login, account registration, and all processes that need verification before approval.
When customers need support to solve a problem or have a question, this is the recommended model. One of its benefits is that you don't need to approve the template before sending, and you also don't need the client's approval.
In some cases, depending on how the hiring is done between broker and platform, taxes may be incurred according to the location where the service will be charged.
